📌🤝 Bilateral Meetings of #OLACDE during the ALC 2026 International Economic Forum #Panama Within the framework of the ALC 2026 International Economic Forum, organized by CAF – Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean @AgendaCAF, Andrés Rebolledo @AndresReboll, Executive Secretary of #OLACDE, held a series of bilateral meetings. ⚡🌎 A meeting was held with the Vice Minister of Multilateral Affairs and Cooperation of Panama, Carlos Guevara Mann @GuevaraMann, where the country’s progress in energy transition and regional integration was discussed. During the dialogue with Ms. Dalila Gonçalves @dal_goncalves, Regional Director of @UNOPS for #LatinAmerica and the #Caribbean, opportunities were explored to expand collaboration in the design and implementation of energy projects aligned with international standards, prioritizing resilient infrastructure and efficient resource management to accelerate the energy transition across Latin American and Caribbean countries. 📸🔌 #OLACDE joins the closing of the Yu Raya Project in #Honduras Gloria Alvarenga @GalvarengaG , Director of Integration, Access and Energy Security at #OLACDE, participated in the closing ceremony of the Yu Raya Project, an initiative led by the Honduran Secretariat of Energy that brought clean and reliable energy to more than one hundred households in Sirsirtara, in La Mosquitia. In her remarks, Gloria highlighted that this project demonstrates how cooperation, shared vision and decentralized solutions “can translate into real, measurable and deeply transformative results.” She also emphasized that “the energy transition must be a social, territorial and inclusive process that reaches those who have historically been left behind.” Yu Raya also strengthened local capacities: 25 technicians and public officials were trained in microgrids through the course supported by OLACDE, leaving installed capabilities and knowledge that will remain within the institutions.
