American Airlines and Google have signed what the carrier is calling a record-breaking sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) agreement. The deal will unlock 35 million gallons (132 million liters) of SAF over three years, resulting in nearly 300,000 metric tons of CO2e emissions reductions. SAF is a lower-carbon alternative to conventional jet fuel that works in existing aircraft and engines without modification.

April: Microsoft United Airlines DSV major SAFc deal (~11M gal/~100k tCOβe)β~20% single deal volume jump on @EnergyWeb 's SAFc Registry.
June: Google American Airlines-35M gal/~300k tCOβe β~40% single deal volume jump on the entire registry.
This is tracked through @energywebx 's SAFc Registry which had issued certificates for around 164,000 tonnes of #SAF till now.
This DSV deal alone adds around 33,300 tonnes.
Thats around 20% volume jump from a single transaction.
