🎗️ This European Week Against Cancer, EHMA supports the call to reduce inequalities in cancer prevention, screening and care across Europe.
Recent European findings continue to highlight important disparities in access to organised cancer screening programmes, with outcomes still shaped by geography, education and access to care.
Strengthening health literacy and accessible health communication is an important part of helping people make informed decisions about their health and improving access to prevention and early detection.
Through the MELIORA project, EHMA contributes to advancing evidence-based, people-centred approaches to digital health and prevention communication across Europe.
📅 The European Week Against Cancer takes place from 25–31 May, bringing together organisations, researchers, policymakers and advocates working towards more equitable cancer prevention and care.
