As part of #SVEEP activities under #SIR2026, extensive voter awareness programmes were organized in migration-prone villages of Bangomunda Block. Local folk dance performances and leaflet distribution were used as effective mediums to reach out to residents and spread awareness about the ongoing Special Intensive Revision. The programmes focused on educating citizens about the importance of electoral participation, voter registration and verification, and the significance of submitting Enumeration Forms. Awareness was also created regarding the distribution and collection of Enumeration Forms to ensure maximum coverage of eligible electors. Chief Electoral Officer Shri A. Srinivas reviewed the preparations for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026 programme in Gurugram and directed officials to ensure the timely, transparent, and effective completion of electoral roll revision work. The review meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Shri Uttam Singh, Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs), and other concerned officials. ✔️Meetings with recognized political parties were held on May 4 and May 22, and the proceedings have been forwarded to the Election Commission.
