This Breathe Week we are focusing on the importance of exercise. For people living with cystic fibrosis, exercise isn't just a healthy habit—it’s a part of care. CF affects the lungs and digestive system, causing thick mucus to build up and making it harder to breathe and absorb nutrients. That’s where physical activity makes a real difference. Consistent movement can help: 💨 Clear mucus from the lungs 💪 Strengthen respiratory muscles ❤️ Boost cardiovascular health 🍎 Support digestion and energy 🧠 Improve mental health and focus And it’s not just about the science—exercise gives people with CF a way to stay strong, feel in control, and connect with their community. At the Boomer Esiason Foundation, we've seen how our Team Boomer athletes use sports and movement to show what’s possible. From training rides to everyday workouts, they're proving that living with CF doesn't mean standing still. This CF Awareness Month, we're shining a light on the role of exercise in the lives of those with CF. Whatever movement looks like for you—it matters. #CFAwarenessMonth #BoomerEsiasonFoundation #TeamBoomer #CysticFibrosisAwareness #ExerciseForCF #CFStrong #FightCFAnywhere #MovementMatters #AthletesWithCF
