Respected COAS General Dwivedi Sir,
@adgpi
No action has been taken on the complaints, pen drives, and documentary evidence formally submitted to you. The reduction of my pension on the basis of an FIR further reflects the intent behind these actions.
At the very least, I deserve an audience to understand the reasons for the deduction of my pension and for the continued failure to act against the inhuman treatment allegedly inflicted upon a woman officer by General-rank officers serving under your command.
In your parting speeches, you conveyed certain narratives to serving officers. However, did you inform them of the complete reality of these events? Unfortunately, you did not. Raising one's voice against wrongdoing is not speaking against the organisation; it is standing up for the values that the organisation claims to uphold. True leaders must have the courage to face the affected officer, veteran, or family. Sadly, none have demonstrated that courage. Three years have passed. Shame.
Have you personally examined the facts surrounding the fabricated FIRs? One has already been dismissed, and the other is likely to face judicial scrutiny, as the evidence is already part of the court record.
I would also appreciate knowing where you plan to open your café after retirement. I shall certainly visit and explain what has transpired, and ask whether such treatment would be acceptable if it were inflicted upon your own family.
Let me remind you that no one has the right to question my integrity especially those who are unwilling to face the victim's family and answer legitimate questions. Reminding your accountability towards my ailing wife and innocent kid and ignorance of complaints on illegal military custody.
Any ways as a Soldier..
I wish you the very best for your retirement.
Jai Hind.
