Ol’635f still hard to beat in big canola. But day after day I think I would still rank the 635fd with auger ahead. Ran nieghbours fd75 and run beside it every day. It has canola seal kit,but no auger. 85%of the time,no difference really. Other 15%…well. That’s why we drink!

I’ve cut tens of thousands of acres of straight cut canola with an fd75. If you’re doing a small amount you might get away without one. Anything more than a few hours you’ll want it. It’s like running without shoes, sure you can do it, but it’s a lot more enjoyable with them!

Any canola growers out there with straight cut experience with a FD75? Is the auger necessary for the back of the belt?

Have nothing bad to say about macdon. Started with fd75. Fd240 now. Case combine. Very reliable, easy to service, cuts great. If you roll your bean ground you'll love the draper

I’m too poor to own one. But if I did I’d be looking at a FD135 if money wasn’t an issue. 2162 case/FD75 is next step down in years.

Unfortunately dealers have become the option of last resort for parts. New centre belt idler shaft for FD75 macdon was $1600 from dealer, jumped on the net and $350 from Collier Miller.

To my knowledge these are the only photos of these vehicles taken on a Sony Mavica FD75 worlds first (maybe)

I agree one of best value for your dollar combine ever built. Have you thought of upgrading your headers to FD75 Macdon’s. That would improve the efficiency of your units.

I took out my FD75 the other day and took some pics, I need to hook up my USB floppy drive to my PC and unload them! It was a pleasure to use it, it has such a wonderful feel, and I LOVE hearing the drive save the pictures!

This classic CLAAS LEXION 760, paired with a MacDon FD75 header, was out in the fields near Tilley, AB yesterday working on some durum wheat! 🌾 That is a fine looking crop right there. 📸 Territory Manager Mitch D. #AlbertaAGCentre #CLAAS #LEXION #wheat #harvest #harvest25

At some point during my eBay-binging years in the early to late 2000s, I acquired a Sony FD Mavica MVC-FD75 Digital Still Camera. Released in the 1990s, the Mavica MVC-FD75 is a digital camera that saves photos by writing JPEGs directly onto a 3.5" floppy disk!

I got a chuckle from this. One of the Deere mechanic farms with dad too. They have a 1688 with a fd75 Draper.
