People that like standard time are strange folks. Is there actually people that like it dark at 8:00 all summer? And 5:30 in the winter? Permanent daylights savings is the answer.
It’s imperative that we revert to STANDARD, not Daylight time, for two reasons, one of which you may have never considered. You know the first: solar noon is closest to 12 o’clock all year. That means an equal number of hours before and after noon each day. This also means earlier sunrises which are significantly better for establishing a healthy circadian rhythm. The second reason is that nearly ONE THIRD of US counties are in the wrong timezone. A significant swath of the country isn’t only an artificial hour ahead because of daylight time… but TWO HOURS ahead of true solar time. Year-round daylight time, especially without recalibrating time zones, would establish this error permanently, affecting millions of Americans. We should be letting the Sun dictate the day the way God made it. Arbitrary, artificial tampering would be worse for us all. Fix the time zones and affix standard time.

The data center supporters will start coming after farmers soon.
Insane stat of the day: California almonds use roughly 3–5.5 million acre-feet of water per year, depending on methodology. That's ~4-7x more water than all data centers in North America used combined in 2025.

Will putting pixie dust on my seed make it rain an inch or two?
Bringing our farm into the future of elite seed treatments and bio controls. A lot of people still talk about biologicals like they’re ā€œcoming someday.ā€ They’re already here! Excited to see BW Defend going to work on our soybeans this season. Time to put it to the test where it matters most.@bw_fusion

Considering Snyder didn’t really win until 1993. This is fairly impressive
A look back at who the winningest college football teams of the 1990s were. What teams/players do you remember the most about this era?

This title is pretty misleading. Branded Paraquat is going away. Generic isn’t, and no one has bought branded Paraquat in years
Paraquat products like Gramoxone will be discontinued after 2026. Growers should plan ahead with alternatives like glufosinate or Group 14 herbicides for burndown programs. Full details: bit.ly/3OEAy5I #kstateagronomy

Tell me big oil donors are in his pocket without telling me lol
While I am hopeful to be supportive of the Farm Bill, there is currently an E15 (ethanol) mandate tacked on to the Farm Bill that I am working hard to remove. I am convinced that this will increase costs at the pump for all Americans, whether they are driving a car or operating a tractor in a field. President Trump and his team rightly provided exemptions to small refineries from the ethanol blend mandate. This new E15 mandate, which I’m opposed to, will reduce these Trump-era exemptions by 80%. This ethanol mandate is set to subsidize corn states at the expense of the state of Oklahoma. It also aligns with the climate alarmist agenda aimed at crowding out fossil fuels. This could very likely put small refineries out of business across the country, further driving up the cost of fuel in Oklahoma. Been chasing problem on my Case IH 4440 sprayer with AIM flex on it. At rates above 10 gpa, I can’t run faster than 9 mph or the low ncv pwm drops below 25 and it kicks the pump off. I’ve changed terminators, changed and cleaned screens. It acts like it’s not getting flow needed
