#FMSLibrary Ss 18 total completed their #BookBingo card, reading 25 books & 2 million words celebrated by buying NEW books for their library. Thank you to @barnesandnoble for the great space and experience. We bought 120 books in 1.5 hrs and about $1000 Great way to end the year!

#FMSLibrary our April #Poetry #SwagBags also went out to over 100 💯 students that checked out a poetry or #ProjectLIT #BOTM: tulip color changing pen, slap bracelet, egg, poem, small toy and candy. @EpsLibraries

#FMSLibrary had over 100 students checkout our @ProjectLITComm #BOTM titles and gave out SWAG bags to all the students. Candy including chocolate basketballs, squeeze ball, a bb bracelet, and a pen with a hoop and basketball for students to try and make a shot!

#FMSLibrary @ProjectLITComm board is done! Each month features 4 books for each month. Students get book talks or they can scan the qrcode inside the book for a trailer/author video. Students that checkout a #projectLIT book get a #swagbag at the end of the month.

#FMSLibrary First winner today in our #stompoutbullyingmonth coloring contest. She took it home and did water colors! Thanks so much to @Sourcebooks for supplying the books for the winners. She is super excited to read this book with her little brother. Everyday is a new winner!

#FMSLibrary @EpsLibraries After #HispanicHeritageMonth up next is #stompoutbullying month. Ss are busy coloring kindness, shoe, pumpkin, and mask posters. Next wk Ss will vote by placing a Halloween sticker next to their favorite poster and EACH DAY a student will win a prize!

Thanks @kelseybogan and @CascadeLibrary for the idea to share out some library stats. In my 4 yrs at #FMSLibrary this first month of school had been the highest circulation yet with 2,273 books checked out in one month! That blows my mind. Ss WANT to read @EpsLibraries!

#FridayCelebration at #FMSLibrary I got my September @ProjectLITComm #memorablememoirs book swag out to the Ss that checked out any of our #BOTM! A writing journal, 6-word-memoir template/bookmark and 2 smelly pencils to write their own memoir.

Fridays are real busy at #FMSLibrary with approx 250 8th students #booktasting #dystopian book club reads with our @EpsCandI LIT #classroomlibrary purchase. Tasted with our eyes first, then read a short excerpt for the “bite”. Way to go the extra mile #Rose and #Leatherwood

Approx 250 6th grade Ss at #FMSLibrary got their #LibraryCardSignUpMonth through our @EpsLibraries partnership with @fvrl and @LibbyApp. They worked through a @PearDeck and a @breakoutEDU box in 30 mins. Proud, but exhausted TL TODAY!

Celebrating #HispanicHeritageMonth at Frontier! #FMSLibrary has an interactive display where students “pin" their ancestry location on a map. Surrounded by books and a FlipGrid link so Ss can record their family name and country of origin. #EPSInspires #epslibraries
