On April 24th, the 2026 Formula Student China Press Conference was successfully held at NIO's booth during the Beijing Auto Show.
Hosted by the Society of Automotive Engineers of China (SAE-China) and supported by NIO for many consecutive years, the event gathered over 300 attendees, including representatives from hundreds of university teams, Zhang Jinhua, Chairman of SAE-China, and William Li , Founder of NIO.
The conference announced the core arrangements for the 2026 season: the "NIO Cup" FSEC (Formula Student Electric China) and FSAC (Formula Student Autonomous China) will take place in Hefei in November. The 2nd NIO Scholarship Award Ceremony was also held on-site to honor outstanding student representatives of the 2025 season, with some graduates who received "interview passes" having successfully joined NIO.
Founded in 2010, Formula Student China is the largest and most influential university practice platform in China's automotive engineering field, covering fuel, electric and driverless categories, and has trained more than 100,000 automotive professionals, injecting youth power into the high-quality development of the automotive industry.
