This year marks the 11th year of my coding/computer programming journey; I can tell you I spent at least 95% of everyday of it writing some code or learning some new concept in software. Let me tell you what this consistency has earned me - 2012: Started writing Python as my first programming language and built lots of projects that didn't fly over the next 6 years. - 2018: Created an open source project ( ImageAI ) that now has 8000 stars on GitHub and 500k downloads - 2018: Started a company with @johnolafenwa and got $20k grant from FBStart accelerator, great initiave by @facebook and @Cc_HUB that empowered us to build DeepStack, an AI product used by 1million users globally - 2020: Joined @hoopsomuah's Microsoft Mixed Reality team in Lagos to build a series of the most interesting projects I have ever worked on - 2021: Became a receipient of the @TechNation Global Talent endorsement and moved to London - 2022: Worked at @uk_emed and worked on one of the most impactful Healthcare products in the world. - 2022: Got married in East London to my soulmate and most wonderful woman in my life @aigehi - 2023: Became a Father to a beautiful baby boy. Having achieved all these milestones despite not having a college degree, I feel privileged with the opportunity to build a future for myself, my family and impact the world at the same time, assisted by wonderful people on the way who are passionate about helping and empowering dreamers. My dream for the next 11 years are much bigger and I have no doubt that the results will exceed my expectations. Consistency, keeping yourself up to date and putting in the work will open the doors to opportunities and "luck" that will make dreams come true. ⭐️

Totally agree!!! Fbstart is a good testament to this prior to it we couldn’t raise any money from anyone we had barely funded a scrappy prototype. I think funding the early experiments and curiosity is key and even if outcomes aren’t directly favorable it often is indirectly.

So far, Gradely has been used by over 5,000 Nigerian parents and 200 schools and made achievements such as receiving “The Adaptive Learning Solution of the Year” 2020 Award by the Federal Ministry of Education and being a part of the Facebook FBStart Accelerator. #gradelylaunch

So Facebook gave us $5000 in ad credits for winning their FbStart program last year (we had to compete & pitch globally to win). Today, after spending $200 they banned our ad account for "suspicious activity". (After having all ads approved). Welcome to our AI-driven society.

That’s something I’m not really great at. Our participation in Facebook’s FBStart 2.0 program afforded us the access and knowledge to build a scalable sales model that obviates the need to do that. Except for one customer, we won all our accounts leveraging that GTM process.
