If her birthday is wrong in the system, then how do they prove her identity to confirm she is a citizen allowed to vote, actually lives in California, is eligible to vote in California elections, is not a felon, and is not committing identity fraud? The fact that it defaults instead of forcing more information makes fraud easier. Basically, my entire family in Mississippi needs to come vote in November because they obviously don’t check and can just leave the DOB blank. Chances of getting caught for voter fraud are slim since they have no idea who they are (no ID check). Keep playing ignorant like a damn duck! Get played like one! Fraud can go both ways! Speaker Johnson said that red states should consider promptly redrawing congressional districts after the Supreme Court’s ruling limiting the Voting Rights Act — a move that would help Republicans gain seats in this year’s midterm elections.
Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry (R) is preparing to suspend primary elections already underway there to draw districts that comply with the Supreme Court’s ruling.
Many Democratic-leaning districts drawn to consolidate majority-minority voters can be redrawn to GOP advantage. The vast majority of those districts are in the South.
Georgia, Tennessee & South Carolina face similar calls to redraw districts before November.
Current estimates suggest Republicans could gain anywhere from 9 seats up to 12–14 seats from ongoing mid‑decade redistricting efforts, depending on how many additional states manage to redraw maps before deadlines.
