With the amount of people I know who pay for nitro, you could easily afford to pay for a TS server. That shit's like 30 cents a slot. Self-hosting is also really easy and the filehosting/voice quality on TS clears discord.

Discord had about a 10 year run, because it was unscrapeable, unreliable for even medium-term filehosting/sharing, and for how hard discovering servers actually was, the migration out will be a lot faster and more painless than anyone expects

It tries to show online previewer which.. i guess not gonna help people. Instead of simple "Download here" button. Download still exist but now relegated as small icon at the corner, feels like bad UI here, especially if you're familiar with older filehosting like rapidshare.

Hmmm, could always sell links to offsite as patreon or other platform content to avoid directly selling the goods. Depending on if they also crack down on those or not. Does mean you have to get a filehosting service though.
