Yet when I met with @ParentInfantFdn CEO Keith last year & asked why they hadn’t covered the Birth Trauma Inquiry, he said they didn’t have capacity 🤷‍♀️. #BirthTrauma is central to the @first1001days. Babies are dying & being harmed but, hey, it’s not in our remit. #BabyBlindspot

We welcome the ambition within the 10-Year Health Plan to create a more personalised, preventative and equitable NHS, with a focus on #DigitalTransformation, #EarlyIntervention, #CommunityCare and the importance of the first 1,001 days of a child’s life. These priorities closely align with our vision of what #health and #care services should offer to #parents and #babies.
