Today, First Class Metals announced a £1.0 million placing, welcoming new institutional investors and further strengthening the Company's position for growth.
The funding will accelerate exploration across our Ontario portfolio, including expanded activity at Sunbeam, follow-up drilling at Roy, and new work at Pettigrew.
Importantly, the placing was completed at 3.8p per share - a 150% premium to our March 2026 fundraising price - reflecting growing confidence in the quality and potential of our assets.
With a revised three-year permit application now submitted for the entire Sunbeam property, we're well positioned for an active second half of 2026 and a strong pipeline of exploration.

@FirstClassMetal has completed its maiden drilling campaign at the North Hemlo property, marking a significant step forward in its exploration programme. #FCM drilled ten diamond holes across approximately three kilometres of the Dead Otter trend, exceeding the original contractual minimum of 700 metres. More than 300 core samples have already been dispatched for laboratory analysis, with a further 100 samples currently in transit.
Encouragingly, every drill hole intersected visually prospective zones, featuring deformation, veining and sulphide mineralisation consistent with First Class Metals’ exploration model. These observations provide a strong geological foundation for follow-up work and help validate the company’s targeting approach at North Hemlo.
