@MELANIATRUMP, on March 24, 2026, officially launched the “Fostering the Future Together” Global Coalition Summit, bringing together First Ladies and representatives from 45 member nations across

#Americas.
Among the participating First Ladies were those from Albania, Antigua and
Barbuda, Aruba, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bangladesh, Belize, Bolivia, Burundi, Cabo Verde, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Equatorial Guinea, Estonia, France, Gambia, Georgia, Ghana, Guatemala, Israel, Kenya, Kosovo, Lithuania, Malawi, Malta, Montenegro, Morocco, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Palau, Panama, Paraguay, Poland, Romania, Senegal, Serbia, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Slovenia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Ukraine, and United Arab Emirates, reflecting the global reach and diversity of the initiative.
The inaugural summit, held at the
@StateDept , convened an influential mix of world leaders, first spouses, and leading technology companies, all united by a shared ambition: to empower children through access to technology and quality education in an increasingly digital world.
In her opening remarks,
@MelaniaTrump called for strengthened global cooperation, emphasizing that the coalition places children above political ideologies and geographical boundaries. She stressed that the initiative aims to expand access to education and modern technologies while equipping young people with the skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.
Participants engaged in discussions around four key pillars: EdTech tools, artificial intelligence in education, online safety and protection, and digital literacy—areas considered critical to shaping the future of learning.
The First Lady also highlighted the growing role of the private sector, noting the participation of major technology firms such as

@Adobe . She underscored that collaboration between public and private actors is key to delivering innovative and scalable solutions for children, educators, and families worldwide.
Describing the gathering as unprecedented,
@MelaniaTrump noted that never before had such a concentration of global leadership and technological expertise been assembled under one initiative. She urged First Ladies and coalition members to take concrete steps, including hosting regional meetings, advancing research, and forming cross-border partnerships.
The summit marks the first in-person meeting of the coalition since its announcement during the United Nations General Assembly in September 2025, signaling what she described as a historic turning point in global cooperation for children’s development.
