No one wants to clap their hands until someone starts. Now for us, someone has started clapping, and I believe the rest will follow. We just received our first major grant. ₹15,00,000. I want to share something close to my heart. You might know about Pixxel, the space startup from India that builds hyperspectral imaging satellites. When they started, it wasn’t a fairy tale. In fact, their own ISRO advisor rejected their idea of putting a hyperspectral camera on a CubeSat. People thought it was too ambitious, too early, too impossible. but my inspiration Awais Ahmed didn't gave up They kept pushing. And at one critical moment, IISc believed in them and gave them a small grant to get going. That one “yes” made all the difference. We used to look at their story with so much hope and think will we ever find our IISc? Will we ever get that one yes? Because we are also a bunch of undergrads, chasing something that most people didn’t take seriously in the beginning. We are building India’s first neuromorphic processor for satellites. Not just for the sake of building, but because we believe that future AI on satellites needs low power, high efficiency, and intelligence at the edge. We didn’t have big titles or industry support. Just an idea, a vision, and a team that never gave up. And today, our “IISc moment” happened. For us, it came in the form of "CIT". They didn’t just support us with infrastructure or words. They guided us carefully, helped us find the right schemes to apply for, pushed us at the right moments, and truly stood by us. With their support, we received our first grant of fifteen lakhs. Is this enough to finish everything? No, but it’s more than enough to fuel our current runway, complete our next major milestone, and most importantly, prove that someone out there believes in what we’re doing. Pixxel had IISc. We had CIT. And now, the journey moves forward. One person started clapping. That’s all it takes. Because once one believes, others slowly begin to listen. And we’re ready for whatever comes next.
