If unrealized gains aren’t “real” enough to tax, they’re also not “real” enough to confiscate via policy. Borrowing against assets is voluntary credit in action — lenders bear the risk. The real rigging comes from government interventions, subsidies, and regulations that favor connected insiders. Free markets reward value creation. Taxing/abolishing success punishes everyone else by slowing innovation and capital accumulation. Prosperity comes from production, not redistribution. #AustrianEconomics #FreeMarkets #PropertyRights

You need government permission to braid hair in 29 US states. To arrange flowers in Louisiana. To shampoo hair in Tennessee. This cannot be filed under "safety issues". They're cartels using state power to eliminate competition and jack up prices. Occupational licensing covered 5% of workers in 1950. Today? 30%. The Institute for Justice estimates these barriers destroy 2.85 million jobs and cost consumers $203 billion annually. Every licensed profession magically discovers why unlicensed competition threatens public safety (translation: threatens their margins). Want to cut someone's hair without 1,500 hours of government-approved training? Criminal. Want to teach kids without an education degree from the same universities that produced our literacy crisis? Also criminal. The state doesn't protect you from bad haircuts; it protects established businesses from you.

Mark Zuckerberg has severe AI psychosis. He has fully bought in to the idea that humans are just a stepping stone to superintelligent AI and is in the process of destroying his company to try and extract intelligence from his own employees. This is genuinely sick. Meta is toast.

Old news maybe, but still relevant and not as widely known/understood as it should be. No question NGOs running "public" housing are often corrupt. Government should stop funding them and let #FreeMarkets function. But the #WarOnDrugs would be taking lives with or without them.

WEALTH ISN'T CASH. IT'S CAPITAL. 💡 Too many people think a billionaire has billions sitting in a bank account ready to spend. That's not how wealth works. 🏭 Most wealth is tied up in businesses, factories, farms, mines, offices, housing developments, machinery and technology. ⚠️ It isn't sitting idle. ⚠️ It isn't sitting in a vault. ⚠️ It isn't available for consumption. It's locked into productive assets creating value every day. ✔️ Employing workers ✔️ Building homes ✔️ Producing goods ✔️ Developing new technologies ✔️ Generating exports ✔️ Growing the economy When people invest, society becomes wealthier. When businesses invest, productivity rises. When productivity rises, wages rise. When wages rise, living standards improve. 📈 Investment is what turns savings into prosperity. The real question isn't how much wealth someone owns. The real question is: How much value is that capital creating for everyone else? 🌱 More investment. 🌱 More productivity. 🌱 More opportunity. 🌱 More prosperity. That's how successful economies are built. 👉 Encourage investment, enterprise and innovation. 👉 Stop punishing productive capital. 👉 Build a richer future for all Australians. #Capitalism #Investment #Productivity #EconomicFreedom #Prosperity #WealthCreation #FreeMarkets #Libertarian #Opportunity #Growth #Australia
Most people don't understand the difference between having billions in the bank, liquid, & having ownership shares in companies worth billions. And I think it would behoove the media to explain this once in a while.

Talk about a failed #BigGovernment policy ignoring the laws of supply and demand, hurting the people it's supposedly helping, and you could be talking about either #RentControl or #MigrationControl. #FreeMarkets mean #freedom for both #capital and #labor. No State protectionism.

Exactly. Wealth isn’t just a static pile of cash — it’s capital deployed in voluntary exchanges that create real value (Tesla, SpaceX, Starlink, etc… Musk’s “net worth” reflects market judgments on future productivity, not money sitting idle for redistribution. The Austrian insight: Trillions in government foreign aid since 2000 have failed because they ignore incentives, property rights, and sound institutions. Socialism and corruption eat the funds while simultaneously destroying local entrepreneurship. Real poverty reduction comes from free markets, innovation, and capitalism — NOT central planning. Musk’s work has done more for humanity than most aid bureaucracies. #AustrianEconomics #FreeMarkets

All true. And he’s being less aggressive than he could be. Elon is showing the world why freemarkets work. It allows the fullest expression of the individuals creativity, thinking and physical abilities.
Occasionally I get shit for being so pro-Elon. 3 big reasons why: #1 He's done more for free speech than Congress who swore to defend it -- both parties. This matters because America sets the global Overton. And without free speech humanity are sheep to the slaughter. #2 He's our greatest innovator since Thomas Edison. When I used to teach MBA Steve Jobs was the ultimate innovator. Jobs -- who invented nothing -- can't touch Elon. #3 The problems Elon's tackling are among most important. A lifeboat for humanity, existential risk from AI, the survival of truth, demographic collapse. This isn't colored Macs.

🚨 Warren rages at Zuck’s $300M yacht while Meta cuts jobs… But here’s what she won’t say: Meta employs ~80,000 people and delivers value to hundreds of millions every single day. Warren? Employs exactly ZERO. Creates ZERO value. Just lives off taxpayers while lecturing actual producers. She calls it a “broken economy.” I call it classic politician envy from someone who’s never built a damn thing. Does Warren deserve a yacht for her “services”? 😂⛵ Reply with your answer 👇 #Hypocrisy #FreeMarkets
