Steve Hilton received his American Citizenship in 2021. Now even though he's British... his family lineage is Hungarain. His parents, whose original surname was Hircsák (which some sources spell "Hircksac"), emigrated from Hungary during the Hungarian Revolution of 1956.
When he was just a British citizen he served as the Director of Strategy to the Prime Minister from 11MAY10-2MAY12. He hosted The Next Revolution, a weekly current affairs show for Fox News from 2017 to 2023.
He was a co-founder of the crowd-funding platform Crowdpac, but resigned as CEO in 2018. Mind you when he was the CEO
Crowdpac suspended all Republican candidate accounts, citing the strong connection between GOP candidates and then-President Donald Trump. The other founder of crowdpac was Brad Parscale. Brad Parscale is an American digital consultant and political strategist best known for leading digital operations for Donald Trump's 2016 and 2020 presidential campaigns.
Now Hilton's wife has been apart of a lot of things...
His wife, Rachel Marjorie Joan Whetstone, was in charge of communications and public policy at Google for nearly a decade, and served as senior vice president of communications and public policy for Uber until April 2017. She then joined Facebook as vice president of communications of its WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger products. In August 2018, Whetstone became the chief communications officer (CCO) of Netflix. As of March 2025, she oversees communications at the AI startup Sierra.
The AI startup Sierra was co‑founded and is led by Bret Taylor (co‑founder/CEO) and Clay Bavor (co‑founder).
Bret Taylor led the team that co-created Google Maps, was the chief technology officer (CTO) of Facebook (now Meta Platforms), chairman of Twitter, Inc.'s board of directors prior to its acquisition by Elon Musk, and co-CEO of Salesforce (alongside cofounder Marc Benioff). Taylor was also one of the founders of FriendFeed and the creator of collaborative productivity software Quip. Clay Bavor is a technology executive and product leader — formerly a longtime Google executive who led products in virtual/augmented reality (including at Oculus/AR efforts), cloud and collaboration.
Whetstone's maternal grandfather was Antony Fisher, founder of several libertarian think tanks, including the Institute of Economic Affairs (based in the UK) and the Atlas Economic Research Foundation (now known as Atlas Network) which is a 501 (c) (3) here in the states.
There's always a reason for President Trump to bring people to the front whether its an endorsement or not... its meant for people to DIG on them.
