The TD Ready Commitment has awarded a $500,000 grant to the Kids Brain Health Foundation (KBHF) to develop an AI app for youth with sound sensitivity.
Led by Dr. Elina Birmingham and Dr. Siamak Arzanpour at
@SFU, this app will use advanced AI algorithms to detect and filter distressing sounds, allowing youth to engage in daily activities without noise distractions.
Current testing has already shown promising results, with feedback highlighting its calming effects.
Stay tuned as we continue to develop the app and make it widely available!
