The skills can vary to be honest
And it depends on your interest, might also be based an existing skill you have.
The contents people put out might be trends but there are truth in it.
To survive here you need to have a solid skill and like I said it can vary.
Be it technical or non technical.
If you don’t have any existing skill from web2 then you have to learn from scratch, those that have a skill before web3 have more edge.
In terms of offering services and getting paid for it.
Skills are rooted in the same web2 we differentiate from web3 that’s where the foundation is, the only difference is you’d be working in a different industry and not regular tech sector.
So in addition to your skill, you need to understand the industry and culture here.
Now to skills;
Non technical.
~ Writing; Technical writing, ghost writing, copywriting, content writing
~ Content creation; video content creation, written content creation.
~ Community related role ( a sector under marketing); SMM, Moderator, Head of growth, community lead/manager, Project manager
~ Visual skill; Video editing, clipping, motion graphics, Visual designer, graphics designer, UI/UX designer
~ Marketing; Growth Marketer, content marketer, product marketer, marketing strategist.
Technical skill
~ Frontent dev
~ Cybersecurity
~ Web dev
~ Data Analyst
~ Software dev
All technical skill would serve as solid foundation for blockchain development roles, security researcher, smart contract developer.
But you’d have to learn programming languages used in blockchain tech.
Hope this helps💜 @ebukatweets_
