२०२५ मध्ये अमेरिकेकडून भारतात इथेनॉल निर्यातीचा नवा विक्रम होणार असल्याची माहिती अमेरिकेच्या ऊर्जा माहिती प्रशासनाने (EIA) दिली आहे. जानेवारी ते सप्टेंबर २०२५ या कालावधीत भारताने तब्बल ३५३९ हजार बॅरल इथेनॉल आयात केले असून दरमहा सरासरी ३९३ हजार बॅरलपेक्षा अधिक इथेनॉल आयात होत आहे. अगोदरच आपल्या देशाच्या कच्च्या तेलाच्या गरजेपैकी सुमारे ८५% तेल आयात करावे लागत होते, परंतु आज कच्च्या तेलाची आयात ९०% पर्यंत वाढली आहे, इथेनॉल प्रचंड प्रमाणात आयात करावे लागत आहे. हा आकडा केवळ आर्थिक नाही, तर धोरणात्मक अपयशाचे प्रतीक आहे. ऊर्जा स्वावलंबनाच्या मोठमोठ्या घोषणा केल्या जात असताना वास्तव असे आहे की आज भारत कच्चे तेल आयात करतो, इथेनॉल आयात करतो आणि इथेनॉल तयार करण्यासाठी लागणारा मका सुद्धा परदेशातून आयात करतो. ही विसंगती नाही, ही थेट कबुली आहे की ऊर्जा धोरणे चुकीच्या दिशेने जात आहेत. ही सगळी परिस्थिती असताना ८०% वाहने E20 सुसंगत नसताना पेट्रोलमध्ये २०% इथेनॉल भेसळ करण्याचा निर्णय घाईघाईने लादण्यात आला. २०१३ मध्ये कच्च्या तेलाचा दर १०८ डॉलर प्रति बॅरल असतानाही आणि आज तो ५७ डॉलरपर्यंत घसरूनही, तथाकथित “डिकंट्रोल” असूनसुद्धा पेट्रोल-डिझेलचे दर कमी झालेले नाहीत. म्हणजे कच्चे तेल आयात, इथेनॉल आयात, भेसळयुक्त इंधन आणि तरीही जनतेला दिलासा नाही ही धोरणात्मक विसंगती नाही, तर थेट आर्थिक शोषण आहे. ऊर्जा धोरण हे देशाच्या दीर्घकालीन हितासाठी, शास्त्रीय अभ्यासावर आधारित असायला हवीत. देशाल केवळ घोषणांची नाही, तर जबाबदार, पारदर्शक आणि जनहितैषी ऊर्जा धोरणांची गरज आहे. @narendramodi @NCPspeaks @supriya_sule #EnergyPolicy #EthanolBlending #E20Fuel #CrudeOilImports #FuelPriceLoot #PetrolDieselPrices
