Are you okay sir. Did they replace your geodon with lucky charms marshmallows on accident again? How is it negative that I simply corrected something that was inaccurate? And what do you mean people like me, people with IQ>99? Is this reverse-ableism?

Thank you. Motherhood is one of the toughest jobs you can have. I understand why women sometimes experience postpartum psychosis. ❤️‍🩹 I had a complicated c-section birth in 2004. My doctors rushed and didn’t close me up properly. 20 years later I was diagnosed with a “rare incisional hernia.” Unfortunately it never showed up on any imaging. In 2023 I had a hysterectomy. Before my surgery I asked my physician to investigate and look for anything else that might be wrong. Taking Geodon masked my pain. Antipsychotics and depression meds can also be prescribed off label for pain. Even though my pain was muted from taking an antipsychotic it still raised my glucose. My brain doesn’t respond well to glucose. I have brain glucose hypo metabolism or postpartum psychosis too. Pain has the potential to give me symptoms of my schizophrenia. It’s no wonder people with psychiatric disorders often die younger than the rest of the population. How long have you been on meds? Do you follow @Metabolic_Mind ?

They are all great meds! But my experience after being on them for so long they lose the sedation effect. I’ve opted to switch to a non sedative antipsychotic geodon I’ve had success with it so far.

To be clear here, Abilify and Geodon are anti-psychotic medications and NOT vaccines.

And for anyone that cares. It was Abilify and Geodon. Those are two medications that can cause this. And it doesn't stop even when you're trying to sleep even when you're trying to shit. It's like restless leg syndrome across your entire body.

Hey Pfizer and Viatris - My wife has been on Geodon (ziprasidone) for nearly 20 years — first marketed by Pfizer, now by Viatris. Kinda curious why you haven't been vocal in response to the recent concerns regarding SSRIs and antipsychotics - especially with long-term use and deprescribing. Your silence implies that you may not be confident in the long-term safety of your mental health products. My family trusted your drugs for nearly 20 years with my wife's care. Will either of you go on the record and publicly state that Geodon is safe for long-term use? Your silence while families like mine suffer is deafening. Patients deserve transparency, not deflection to the APA @pfizer @ViatrisInc @APApsychiatric

Pharma’s deafening silence on the exploding criticism of SSRIs & antipsychotics speaks volumes. Daily critiques of decades of publication bias, suppressed negative trials, and real-world harms (insomnia, withdrawal hell, metabolic damage) —yet NO major pharma company steps up with transparent long-term data or robust rebuttals. Zilch. Instead they are relying on others, namely trade associations such as the APA and psychiatrists whose professional careers have been built on prescribing their products. It's telling. Pharma companies have MASSIVE well-funded marketing departments that could be leveraged to preach the merits of their mental health drugs. So why the silence? If pharma believed their products were safe for long-term use, wouldn't they be shouting it from the rooftops? They would. They know they are hurting people

I had really bad anxiety with my geodon taper. What coping strategies did you find? Ketosis helps me

No dude they literally either have minor but annoying side effects or do nothing. Prozac? Hyper. Vraylar? Restless. Geodon? So fucking emotional (cried over cutting potatoes poorly) and the current is just too early to tell tbh

I’m dropping my antipsychotic again after 18 years of use!!! 🎉 Ketosis heals. I used to take 80 mg of geodon, 60 mg of Cymbalta, and 5 Xanax a day. I’m now only taking 10mg of geodon. I’ve tapered slowly due to withdrawals. I open my capsules and weigh my geodon in order to do smaller drops. My pharmacy only carries 20 mg capsules. This needs to change. Not everyone can or should take these drugs. My drugs stopped working and now only give me horrible side effects. @RobertKennedyJr I never thought I’d get here. 🙏

I stated geodone in 2008 and spent 18 years taking it. I’ve been on 80mg of geodon pretty much since my diagnosis. Then I was prescribed Xanax and cymbalta.

I’m getting about 7-8 hours of sleep right now. I only drop my meds when my sleep is good, my ketones are consistently high, my stress is manageable, and my psych med withdrawal symptoms have improved. I also wait until I experience signs of being overmedicated on geodon before I reduce it. For me I usually experience swallowing difficulties and sometimes a resting tremor due to drug induced Parkinsonism.

I’ve been tapering off my antipsychotic for 2 1/2 years. It’s recommended to do a hyperbolic taper. It can be dangerous going too fast. I have personal experience. @LauraDelano @BasedPsychMD @Metabolic_Mind The smallest dose my geodon comes in is 20 mg capsules. Dropping 20 mg at a time was dangerous for me. I have to use a compound pharmacy or a special scale to weigh and separate my antipsychotic powder. Pharmaceutical companies should be required to provide smaller doses. It’s reckless not to. @RobertKennedyJr

Today’s Activity 💪 6.9 Miles walked outside. Morning/ Evening sun I reduced my geodon 18 days ago. 14mg to 12mg. Withdrawals started 3 days in. Facial grimacing Akathisia Reduced deep sleep and total hours slept My withdrawal symptoms ease with higher ketone levels. My ketones dipped for 2 weeks into the 1's After 2 weeks they rebounded in the 2-4 range. I also stopped taking l-carnitine at the same time my ketones rebounded. It was giving me anxiety, insomnia, and paranoia. It wasn't my illness returning because I knew I shouldn't be behaving like that. I ate primarily red meat so I didn't need to supplement anymore. Upon stopping the supplement my symptoms went away. I regularly check my l-carnitine levels. My ketones are steady again. I'm now showing signs of drug induced Parkinsonism. Drug side effects increase when I need to drop my antipsychotic. I only drop when my ketones are steadily in the 2.0 -4.0 range.

@LionAdvocacy what is the payout for wrongful death in BC? What about functional impairment? Disability from forced “treatment plans”? Gambling debts? Wasn’t there 2 class actions for depot Abilify in Ontario and Quebec? Why not in BC? What about the deaths from switching depots @switchrxapp @TELUS ? Abilify to Invega or Invega to Geodon? Any issues? What lab, EKG, and metabolic tests should be done while forcing people (and kids) with these unpredictable depot drugs? @MarjoriePLC @SuzanneMcgurn any concerns? @PaulMinotMD @BadreNicolas @DrJosefWD @BCOmbudsperson @BcMeggster
