An ice cream brand that doesn't need summer. Why GoZero might be quietly rewriting the rules of Indian ice cream - a business breakdown through an analyst's perspective. For decades, Indian ice cream lived by two rules: It's a summer business. Indulgence and health don't mix. GoZero looked at both and decided neither had to be true. That's why I find it one of the most interesting category bets in Indian consumer right now. The Insight: Founder Kiran Shah isn't chasing a trend. His family has run Apsara Ice Creams in Mumbai since 1971. He knows the cold chain, the flavour science, and the consumer better than almost anyone.
