GFP General Secretary & Spokesperson (Org) Shri Durgadas Kamat has raised a critical question: "With the sharp rise in robbery cases across the state, what concrete measures is the government taking?"
Patrolling after dark is practically absent, with police movement seemingly selective. We urgently demand the revival of systematic beat policing, where police collaborate closely with local vendors and residents to prevent and report suspicious activity. Robbery cannot be allowed to become the new normal in Goa.
It's time the government acts, our safety is non-negotiable.

Police should focus on mental and physical fitness; they should not fall prey to greed, like Constable Amit Naik. I have full confidence in our police department. Police should have a positive attitude so we can work 100% efficiently towards Viksit Goa 2047. Keeping Goa safe and secure, the police play a vital role. - CM at the launch of 'Swasth Police - Shakti Police'.
