𝐊𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐭𝐰𝐚𝐫 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 The 5th Good Governance Week, observed under the flagship outreach initiative “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore,” concluded successfully across District Kishtwar, reaffirming the district administration’s commitment to transparent, responsive and citizen-centric governance. The week-long programme was effectively implemented across all 13 blocks of the district, with a strong emphasis on last-mile service delivery, proactive grievance redressal and effective implementation of government welfare schemes at the grassroots level. Under the directions of the Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar, Pankaj Kumar Sharma, officers from all line departments conducted extensive field visits to designated locations, as per the schedule issued by the District Administration, on the concluding day of the programme. During these outreach activities, officers engaged directly with local residents, listened to their concerns, and facilitated on-the-spot resolution of numerous public grievances, thereby strengthening public trust in administrative mechanisms. The public was also sensitized about various flagship welfare schemes of the Government of India and the UT Government of Jammu & Kashmir. A wide range of services were delivered during the campaign, including revenue-related services, distribution of Labour Cards, issuance of Birth and Death Certificates, awareness of Centrally Sponsored Schemes and UT-level schemes and grievance redressal. During the campaign, 1,014 complaints were resolved through the State Grievance Portal, 3,172 service applications were disposed under the service delivery framework and 146 workshops/outreach camps were held across the district. The inauguration of the National Workshop on Good Governance Week, by Union Minister of State, @DrJitendraSingh was telecast live at the Meeting Hall, New DC Office Complex, Kishtwar. The live broadcast was attended by senior officers from the District Administration and staff.
