📘✨ Finished reading "Good Strategy/Bad Strategy: The Difference and Why it Matters" by Richard Rumelt ✨📘 This one was a long one to get through. The gist of the book is excellent. We tend to attach strategy to everything we do, but all of that is fluff. 1. The Kernel of Good Strategy: a good strategy contains a diagnosis that defines the nature of the challenge, a guiding policy for dealing with the challenge, and a set of coherent actions designed to carry out the guiding policy. 2. Spotting Bad Strategy: Vague, goal-oriented declarations ("fluff") that fail to address the real issues.
