My @Google internship came to an end last week, and I’m nothing but grateful for the incredible opportunity✨.
I was part of the AI and Infrastructure team, and every single day was a learning experience💡. My project focused on assessing the feasibility of potential optimizations for a backend service responsible for exchanging infrastructure data.

ALT What are you working on this summer? Althea: This summer, I'm interning on Google Play’s release operations team in Singapore. My primary focus is on developing an internal tool designed to streamline our release schedule. This tool will enable teams to better track and manage feature deployments, ensuring new features are launched in a timely manner.”
ALT Why did you apply to Google? Althea: “This is actually my second summer as a Google intern! I came back because my previous internship experience was exceptionally positive. I learned firsthand about the impact of technology on a global scale. Additionally, I was impressed by Google's welcoming and collaborative culture.”
ALT What are you looking forward to for the rest of the summer? Althea: “I’m excited to continue learning about a new product area because that pushes me to grow and hone new aspects of my technical skills. I'm also excited to continue learning from, and collaborating with, fellow Googlers!”
