I think #utilities push the #reliability card at their peril- if the grid is that reliable why do we own back-up generators? On-site #solar with #batteries and micro-grid deployments would say that reliability is a good reason for #GridDefection #utilitydeathspiral

Asunto importante que personas del @uprm como @LioOrama llevan muchos a~os diciendo es que necesitamos un buen estudio de cuanto es que vale ese servicio de la red. El cargo debe de ser razonable, no para garantizar ganancias a generación basada en la red y evitar #GridDefection.

The #distributedgeneration market is set to expand significantly in South Africa. Hopefully it does not mean #griddefection, so that we can all share in the value of the grid and unlock more #energytransition opportunities, such as #prosumers #electricvehicles #smartgrids

I’ve said it once and I’ll keep saying it. The utility companies are@not your fried. #gridDefection is coming.
I used to use space heaters to heat my home because we couldn't afford the gas bill. One day the outlet started shooting out flames and nearly burned down my 2-year-old baby's room.
We almost lost our baby. We almost lost our home. Public power could have prevented this.

Lets be 100% clear - self-generation 4 self-consumption means a #MillionMicroGrids - it means #GoodGridCitizens must seek beneficial coexistence

Inverter after inverter. Now when they use IEEE 1547:2018 to play nice with their local feeder then we have a grid-interactive building, and of course a stronger gird
