A Delta worker died after a tug hit a jet bridge at Orlando International Airport (MCO) Thursday evening, May 7. Delta confirmed a team member died while on the job. The airline paused operations at MCO while working with investigators. One flight was canceled, with customers accommodated on other flights. The FAA confirmed a tug hit the jet bridge where a Delta plane was parked at the gate. A full investigation is underway to determine what occurred. Members of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence (SCoD), consisting of sixteen Members of Parliament with the Chairperson Shri Radha Mohan Singh Honourable MP, and ten SCoD team delegates, visited Air Force Station Yelahanka on 19 January 2026 as part of their tour of Defence Establishments. They reviewed the #training of IAF personnel and looked into the aspect of induction of #womenincombat roles in #IAF. AOC-in-C TC, welcomed the committee members. Post a comprehensive presentation followed by questions by the Committee members, they were given a flying demonstration of how the training is operational oriented and shown the synergy between #Air and #GroundOperations. The Chairman of the committee complimented the IAF for providing state of the art training to all the trainees thereby, achieving the highest standards to ensure #combatreadiness. He also praised the role of #WomenOfficers in IAF.
