Hi, this is more of a reintroduction. I’m Ladipo Samuel, a Developer Relations Engineer and Backend Engineer who has spent the last few years building products, speaking at events, mentoring developers, leading communities, shipping systems, and contributing to ecosystems both locally and globally. Over the last 3 years, I’ve gained experience working with organizations and programs like @MicrosoftNG , @OfficialSquadCo by @gtbank , @Meta Accelerator Program, @HackMIT , Stanford @hackwithtrees , and several developer ecosystems across Africa and beyond. Along the way, I’ve:
• Built 20 projects across AI, fintech, healthcare, accessibility, and Web3
• Spoken at 10 technical events including @hultprize , @cursor_ai , and @TechpulseC75071
• Reached 4,000 developers through community, hackathons, and ecosystem engagements
• Participated in, mentored, judged, and organized hackathons
• Written technical articles read by 2,000 people
• Pitched products publicly, led developer communities, and helped developers grow from learners to builders Some people know me through engineering, others through DevRel, hackathons, speaking, or community work, but this portfolio finally brings every part of my journey together in one place. Check it out. I think you’ll genuinely love what’s in there 🤍 Portfolio: ladicodes.dev

We built heterogeneous GPU inference across spot instances ; massive potential for cost savings in inference. Launched at HackMIT. Processed 13M tokens in a few hours from a sponsor booth. Shirts were barely printed the day before.

one of my favorite parts of this job is getting to sit down with people like Sarah Su she's a junior at MIT studying AI, organizing HackMIT, interning at @cerebras, and she has a really unique perspective on why her generation isn't buying into the AI hype the way you'd expect Sarah dives into her first-hand experience with AI in the classroom, declining hackathon projects, and what the next generation of MIT CS/AI students are excited to build. hi! i'm wrapping up my time at @naturalpay and looking for what's next. i'm particularly interested in frontier AI research (especially long-horizon agents), tools for agents, GPU/sandbox infra, AI security, energy, datacenter tech/chips, and robotics/VLA training. about me: 19, ml @ mit, studying cs/linguistics, interned at @mosaic_so (yc w25, agents for video editing) and @naturalpay (payments infra for agents), won 9 hackathons including hackmit (with a hardware project!), has grown rat neurons and made them play doom :D i also love worldbuilding and fantasy/sci-fi books and videogames, and run a hacker house called softmax.house. willing to join full-time for the right role :) dm me if you'd like to talk, or just schedule a call: cal.com/tetraslam/30min

At hackMIT they only met/interviewed with MIT Students, maybe the winner of their track gets an interview with them too I think But guessing it’s the same at TreeHacks, where they’ll mostly be interested in Stanford students

The @hackmit team has been hard at work over the past few months to put this together for any high schoolers interested in exploring STEM and competing in a hackathon at MIT! Esp if you’re from the MA area consider applying or sharing this opportunity with other high schoolers!!
We're very excited to announce that applications for Blueprint '26 have opened! Check out details at blueprint.hackmit.org. Applications are due 2/1 at 11:59PM EST; we look forward to another fun year of hacks!

Took 1st at HackMIT (world's largest hackathon, 1000 hackers, $100k pool) & $10K in wins. Tip 1: write the PITCH before code. Force clarity—WHO hurts, WHY it matters, WHAT proves you solved it. Build product as proof. If you want more threads on how to win hackathons, lmk!

I snagged 1st place at HackMIT ((world's most selctive collegiate hackathon, 1,000 hackers, $100k prize pool) and racked up $10K in prizes from my wins! People often ask: "What's your secret to crushing hackathons?" Tip #1 : 𝐈 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐞. When you write your pitch first, you're forced to answer: - WHO has this problem? - WHY does it matter to them? - WHAT proves you solved it? Your product becomes proof of your pitch. (We did this with Infosys track for our EcoAI project-simple, impactful, gives direction before going in on the idea and it sealed the win.) If you want a full thread on strategies like team picks, idea brainstorming, and pitch perfection, smash that like/reply "YES" below! Who's in? (fyi : I'm in the red t-shirt :) ) #Hackathon #HackMIT #HackathonTips #WinningHackathons
