There is a special place in hell for QR code generator websites that silently replace your link with a redirect through their site, then break it after 10 scans and charge you to $35 reactivate it

This class was already insane -- but now it's even crazier.
We have now updated the @CS153Systems site with our second batch of speakers including @LisaSu @satyanadella @garrytan @sdianahu @matiii and @andi_blatt Next week we'll unveil some surprises that are big wins for students and the broader ecosystem

We interviewed @sama — crazy stories that have never been told before > how sam crashed a Stanford professor's car > the first day of OpenAI in @gdb's apartment > "sam, are you happy?" > sam's day in the life > his time at Stanford before dropping out > what to build now
We sat down with @sama for a fireside chat at TreeHacks 2026. We chatted about his time at Stanford, the early days of OpenAI, and the future! 0:00 Steam tunneling and freshman year at Stanford 2:03 Founding Loopt in soph year 4:16 YC changes everything 6:16 Dropping out of Stanford 8:16 How to raise 10:38 How OpenAI was born 15:18 How he met OpenAI co-founders 17:03 OpenAI's first day in @gdb's apartment 19:01 When moment when OpenAI started to work 20:33 Why GPT-2 was the turning point 22:07 AGI will be here in >2 years. 25:32 What should people build now? 29:57 How AI will impact politics, religion, and society 34:24 How do you compete with OpenAI? 36:40 Is OpenAI *really* burning cash dangerously fast? 37:46 Sam, are you happy? 40:23 What AI subfield today feels like OpenAI in 2016? 42:26 Custom silicon & hardware

Take a look into what TreeHacks was like this year! Dagsen team captured the essence perfectly
We went to America's top hackathon (@hackwithtrees) to see if @dagsen could predict the grand prize winner before the judges made up their minds. Was he successful? Toryn built and designed our super sick PCB badges this year! check out his post on how he made them
It was an absolutely crazy journey organizing the 12th annual TreeHacks. Short read about how I made this year's PCB Badges 👇 toryn.bio/blog/pcb-badges

Came out of a 2 year long hackathon retirement to win 🏆 GRAND PRIZE at @hackwithtrees !!! In 36 hours, we: - Manufactured, designed, and built an entire 4-armed surgery robot ( a 6am trip to Home Depot). - Wrote our own inverse kinematics control system. - Designed a custom algorithm to convert LIDAR data into 3d coordinates. - Built a multi-LLM robotic agent using @OpenAI's GPT-5.2 and @GoogleDeepMind's Gemini Robotics-ER 1.5. - Mapped real-time orientation data from a Meta Quest 3 onto a physical moving camera arm. - Created Nix flakes for reproducible builds on both our production and development environments. - Used dependent type theory in Lean to prove that trajectories are within safe physical bounds. And the best part is we came up with the idea during the Hackathon. Check out our project here: devpost.com/software/we-use-…
