#GOODMORNING! It’s #Monday and that means school was cancelled (HELLOSNOW!). I went back to bed, only to wake up to #OingoBoingo, video games noises, and a happy Weiner dog getting his say in #BORKBIRK about #ALLTHAT.
It’s fun having my kids both here again 😆 I guess. They are 12 years, 11 months apart 👉🏻 so when they get to spend actual quality time together, it makes me feel good. They are both kinda like “only” children so far apart. It’s also ironic that BOTH are now adults, I was finally in the phase where I can do WHATEVER I WANT, and they are now both living here 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Not that I didn’t do whatever I wanted BEFORE, but I made a concerted effort to be the kind of mom who was more . . . #AVAILABLE. Hands on. A phone call away. Not distracted by stupid people . . .
It will be 10 years ago now, on January 15th 👉🏻 when my (now) ex husband went to work, and never came back. Like no heads up, no warning, he had JUST got his CDL license that Saturday BEFORE, OH THE IRONY (that’s ANOTHER story!).
He had snuck out what he wanted the 2 months prior (as I figured out later) 👉🏻 and left to be with this chick he met at some grocery store, who was ALSO a year older than our oldest son. Apparently while getting his CDL, and working full time 👉🏻 he found time to cheat on me and knocked her up the 2nd round, so I was told 🙃. Later.
He didn’t have the balls to tell me, so he just . . . LEFT. I had to figure out the rest on my fucking own #kthanks 👍🏻! I became a single mom, and that was not in my plans prior to that.

However I’m not salty. It was hard, sure. It sucked, fuck yeah! But my life, IMPROVED. He claimed his improved too, but I think we ALL KNOW 👉🏻 mistakes were made. My replacement is bigger bitch than I ever was. She hid it, just long enough to get that marriage certificate 🤣.
But NOW HE KNOWS! #LOL
So I’m just happy to be here all this time later, alive, mostly well #KNOCKSONWOOD, and both my kids are here too, and happy. What more could you ask for?!?? Life is kinda okay, sometimes 🤣!
