Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Year 5 classes from Forefield Junior School to Merchant Taylors'! The pupils were eager to dive into their History topic which focused on their local area. Their journey took them back to 1620, the year our school was founded. It was a fascinating trip down memory lane, exploring how Crosby and Sefton looked and felt during that time. The pupils were captivated by the rich history and stories of our community's past. 🏫🔍 We loved seeing their curiosity and enthusiasm as they discovered the roots of our school and its significance in the local area. It was a wonderful opportunity to share our heritage and inspire the next generation of historians. Thank you to Forefield Junior School for joining us and making it such a memorable day.
