The assessment is not the finish line. It is the starting point. This is what post assessment training looks like at OGX. We use tools and constraints to help hitters feel the changes instead of forcing positions. Data tells us what is happening. Training teaches the body what to do next. #softballhitting #hitterdevelopment #betonme

New Hitting Class Drop in: Time the Hands- (hitting classes aren’t about mechanics). It’s about Finding rhythm, timing and barrels!! This 5-minute segment focuses on one of our favorite. Three Strides, One Swing. Focus on “Timing the Hands” Here’s how it works: 1.Narrow stance to 2.Long stride 3.Pull it back to a toe tap 4.Into a leg kick 5.Then launch Chaotic feet, calm hands. This drill forces hitters to sync their upper and lower half, creating rhythm, adjustability, and next-level timing. Want better barrel control under pressure? Behind the Scenes: Building Bombers One Swing at a Time 🚨 When working with remote hitters, it’s all about tailoring the plan to their specific goals and movements. Here’s a sneak peek at how I broke things down for a player on Seamsup App who wanted to hit more pull-side homers but was struggling because he was drifting and spinning off. 👉 In the first part of the video, I highlighted how his drifting was affecting his ability to get to the inside pitch which led to weak contact instead of driving the ball. Breaking this habit was key to helping him stay in his legs and generate real pull-side power. 👉 The second part of the video shows one of my favorite drills to fix this. By tossing the ball extremely inside, the focus is on staying tight and hitting it forward toward center/left-center. This drill forces the hitter to stop spinning off and instead attack the ball with proper direction while keeping his swing path clean. The result? Fewer rollovers, more barrels, and a swing designed to send bombs where they belong. 💣💥 This is just one example of how I tailor videos and drills to each individual hitter. Every player is different, and every swing tells a story. 🎥 Want to see more behind-the-scenes breakdowns like this?
