1/ Just wrapped an unforgettable week in Korea 🇰🇷
I came in expecting a vibrant Web3 scene — but what I found blew me away.
The builders here are on another level: sharp, creative, technical, and deeply mission-driven.
@Humanityprot is lucky to have you guys. Here's a quick recap 👇
2/ We kicked things off with a hackathon with Blockchain Valley, Korea University’s top blockchain R&D academy.
The energy was electric. Every conversation felt like a glimpse into the future — not hype, but substance.
3/ Huge congrats to the winning teams:
🥇 LoveBeats – reimagining online dating with real human connection.
🥈 TrustMeet – a Humanity Protocol-powered professional social network that’s Sybil-resistant.
🥉 Vyra – a DeFi lottery where bots can’t game the system.
All 🔥, all built in a weekend.
4/ Then came our meetup & fireside chat.
We went deep on Humanity Protocol’s mission:
→ Prove humanity without compromising privacy
→ Use zkTLS to unify fragmented online identities
→ Build a safer, more inclusive digital world
5/ We even had everybody onboard with Humanity Scanners.
No script, no filters — just real people, real tech.
The response? Instant curiosity. Lots of smart questions. Lots of thoughtful feedback.
6/ What really stood out to me:
Korea’s not here to follow trends.
You want to lead.
You want to build the infrastructure that will make Web3 truly human-first.
And that’s exactly what the space needs.
7/ I’ll be honest — I left Korea more inspired than I arrived.
There’s something special brewing here, and Humanity Protocol is all-in for the long game.
Let’s build a Web3 that belongs to everyone.
8/ 감사합니다 🇰🇷
This isn’t goodbye — it’s the beginning of something bigger. I’ll be back very soon.
Thanks to
@JunwooJames and @ROKMCFIREANT for being my on the ground translators. To many more poktanju...
