they hadn't yet figured how to milk the kickbacks like Vic - & perhaps had a moderately less dysfunctional ICAC/IBAC who investigates corruption involving a union & a premier for a decade with no result ? - nice work if you can get it

That’s a lot of rightwing propaganda, if you have any evidence take it to IBAC. But if you’re just venting , pull your head ,dimwit.

Well in fairness it's well and truly lodged into the ground. They have never really put forth any meaningful policy in years. Had they not committed to the east-west link prior to the election and put in measures to ensure IBAC could do something useful we may not be in a totally bankrupt position. If LNP wins this election it needs to be a on a tight leash by ONP as they clearly have no strategy to get crime and spending under control.

Firefighters in Bendigo but nobody mentions that Peter Marshall of the United Firefighters Union, the loudest voice against the Emergency Services Levy, is the subject of an IBAC corruption report. #springst journos think we're all idiots.

This proves that Allan doesn't give a hoot about the State of Victoria & the People in the State of Victoria. She's so selfish, hanging onto her Seat? Why! Like that Shing MP, who saved Andrews from the IBAC questions. Redlich had him until she stepped in & stopped it. @austpol
What a selfish bloody b itch .. @JacintaAllanMP

Any word on the $15,000,000,000 to $30,000,000,000 that’s not accounted for..? You know - all the rorts that you don’t really care about until well after the November Election - that’s when you’re planning on changing the IBAC powers so they can do their job… you could do it right now if you truly wanted to… You’re a joke of a Premier. A disgrace.

They fucking did not steal anything $15 billion is a fantasy made up number, it has no basis in fact and has been completely discredited as fiction. The fuss which the liberals are clutching at straws about, relates the the construction consortium making deal with the union. This is nothing to do with the government and there is no suggestion of corruption or criminal activity by the government. In fact, upon these matters coming to light, the government has 1. Placed the union into administration and appointed an administrator 2. Removed any and all officials mentioned in the channel 9/age report accused of wrong doing 3. Commenced an investigation, initiated by the administrator, to substantiate the varacity of any accusations 4. Commenced Victoria Police task force Hawk to deal with any criminal matters, referrals or reports 5. Referred the matter to IBAC - who declined to investigate because there was NO MINISTERIAL MISCONDUCT The $15b value is vastly exaggerated. It assumes a guess at the likely percentage impost of any misdealings. The number guessed is 15%. Moreover, that number has been applied to the full value of the big build $100b to come up with the fanciful $15b. Yet much of the Big Build - airport Rail, SRL, 22 level crossings and NE Link has not yet been completed so one third to half the big build budget has not even been expensed. So the simple extrapolation and therefore the $15b is just a ridiculous number. Moreover, this alleged additional costs also includes additional working hours negotiated with the union to deliver the projects faster, to deliver benefits faster and reduce disruption to Victorians and is most definitely legitimate expense. RMIT emeritus professor David Hayward has stated, "there is no evidence that criminality was as financially significant as claimed" & "cost overruns are more likely material & equipment costs & project specific issues" CFMEU Administrator Mark Irving KC redacted whole chapters of Watson's report, including the absurd $15b claim, citing he was "not satisfied the findings were well founded or properly tested" Watson's report was commissioned BY the LABOR APPOINTED administrator. Any alleged corruption is historical and bought to a stop by Labor, federal and state, as soon as the allegations became known. Watson's credibility in tatters. His entire report, incl the $15b fantasy, is a work of fiction. Any wonder it was tossed by the KC administrator of Vic CFMEU. He released it in Qld because the Vic administrator said it was bullshit. The Qld CFMEU inquiry, where he tried to present it, is ripping it to shreds Any allegations of corrupt actions will be duly forwarded to police task force Hawk also commenced by Labor. abc.net.au/news/2026-04-23/q…

there's a Victorian career politician whose relative smeared you personally online here, during COVID. IBAC Operation Richmond may be the best gift of karma you can give to that person, if you want to start digging, @Quartermain10 #springst
