🌱 RECAP4NDC Moves into the Implementation Phase in Uttarakhand As the RECAP4NDC project transitions into its next phase of on-ground implementation, field activities commenced in the pilot cluster of Dhaspar, Jageshwar Range, Almora, during World Environment Week 2026. TERI, together with consortium partners GIZ, ICFRE, IUCN, CEDAR, and HARC, conducted village-level meetings, stakeholder consultations, and value-chain assessments to support the operational planning process for Forest Landscape Restoration (FLR) interventions. A solid waste sanitation drive was also organized at Jageshwar Dham to promote responsible waste management and protect the ecological integrity of the region. The programme was graced by Mr Pradeep Dhaulakhandi, District Forest Officer, Civil Soyam, Almora, and Ms Soumya Garbyal, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Almora.
