Launched the logo and website for the 1st International Big Cat Alliance Summit 2026 in Delhi today in the presence of several Head of Mission of big cat range countries. Envisioned by PM Shri @narendramodi ji, @IBCA_official reflects India’s belief that conservation challenges must be addressed collectively, through cooperation, knowledge sharing, and mutual support. The upcoming IBCA Summit in June 2026 will be a defining moment. It will bring together Heads of State/Heads of Government, experts, and partners from across the world to deliberate on the future of big cat conservation.

The one-week training programme on “Introduction to Bamboo Handicrafts: Learning the Art and Trade” successfully concluded today with trainees completing their products, followed by a feedback session and certificate distribution—marking a successful end to the programme.

The two-day Green Skills Training on Composting & Apiculture under VVK concluded today. Day 2 featured in-depth sessions on bee management, hive maintenance, and honey production by Shri Malsawmtluanga, Master Apiculturist, ITI.

ICFRE-BRC, Aizawl, inaugurated a two-day Green Skills Training on Composting & Apiculture (05–06 March 2026) under the Van Vigyan Kendra (VVK). Twenty participants from Bethlehem Vengthlang are undergoing technical sessions and hands-on training on composting and beekeeping.

3-day training on Mushroom Farming concluded today. Participants visited the Mizoram Science, Technology & Innovation Council, Mushroom Centre in Aizawl, a leading hub for mushroom research and production. The programme ended with a feedback session and certificate distribution.

Day 2 – Hands-on Training on Oyster Mushroom! Participants practiced sterilizing paddy straw, carefully spreading spawn of Pleurotus ostreatus, and final bag filling for healthy growth.

3-Day Training programme on “Mushroom Farming: Cultivation Techniques & Marketing Strategies” under Van Vigyan Kendra, Aizawl commenced today at ICFRE-BRC, Aizawl (24–26 Feb 2026).

ICFRE- BRC successfully conducted an Environmental Awareness Programme as part of its PRAKRITI (Scientist-Student Connect Initiative) at its premises on 16 February, 2026. Around 200 students of Primary classes from PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, Aizawl had visited the Centre.

Day 2: Field Visit Productive day exploring Mizoram's best! Visited the successful Zopar Export Pvt. Ltd. flower farm. Discussed operations with the impactful Reiek Turmeric Society. Finished with a memorable view from Reiek Peak.
