The APC National Woman Leader, Hon. Dr. Mary Alile Idele (PhD), announced her preparedness to lead Nigerian women of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the APC Global Diaspora Women Summit scheduled to hold in Italy from 26th to 28th June, 2026.
The summit is expected to serve as a strategic platform for strengthening ties between women in the diaspora and those at home, fostering greater participation of women in governance, and promoting the ideals of progressive leadership on the global stage.
On the same day, Hon. Dr. Mary Alile Idele commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for the successful rescue of 360 kidnapped victims in Borno State. While applauding the efforts of the nation's security agencies, she passionately appealed for intensified operations aimed at securing the freedom of other Nigerians still being held captive by criminal elements.
> "Every Nigerian life matters, and we must continue to support all efforts geared towards restoring peace and security across our nation," she stated.

The Manager to the APC National Woman Leader, Mr. Paul, released a comprehensive analysis highlighting the exceptional leadership qualities and remarkable contributions of Hon. Dr. Mary Alile Idele (PhD) in her capacity as the Founder and Convener of the Tinubu Torch Bearers (TTB).
The analysis emphasized her relentless efforts in advancing the Renewed Hope agenda while mobilizing support structures for sustained national development.
Furthermore, Hon. Dr. Mary Alile Idele intensified her advocacy for active civic participation by calling on Nigeriansโparticularly women and Tinubu Torch Bearers coordinators nationwideโto participate in the ongoing voters' registration exercise and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
