ISRO Chairman V. Narayanan addressed the CSIR-RISE Conclave in Bengaluru. He informed that ISRO, in collaboration with the Department of Atomic Energy, is developing an advanced artificial heating system to protect lunar landers from the Moon’s extreme cold conditions. He noted that the Chandrayaan-3 lander Vikram, powered by solar energy, operated for only 14 days on the Moon. @isro now aims to develop a lunar lander capable of surviving up to 200 days with the help of artificial heaters to withstand harsh lunar weather conditions. @CSIR_NIScPR #ISRO #Chandrayaan3 #SpaceResearch
