Is a sudden mandatory loyalty mandate from Beijing a sign of total control, or is the regime panicking over internal cracks?
On June 15, the Chinese Communist Party officially launched "Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building," forcing a massive political indoctrination campaign across its entire membership.
According to Xinhua, the official state news agency of China, this directive cements Xi’s absolute authority. Cai Qi, a Politburo Standing Committee member and Secretary of the Central Secretariat, delivered a hardline speech ordering cadres to study original texts to protect Xi’s core status. Significantly, Li Xi, the Secretary of the powerful Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, was also present. His attendance signals that the regime will use its aggressive anti-corruption apparatus to hunt down anyone who slips out of line.
This forced compliance reveals deep anxiety within the CCP leadership. Facing severe economic and external pressures, the party is treating absolute loyalty as an existential security measure rather than a standard policy update.
Will this intense top-down pressure solidify the regime's grip, or will forcing millions into mindless conformity trigger a quiet rebellion?
