It was a great final question. From the options given for the biggest challenge to data sharing – “Standards, technology, creativity, need, skills or public trust?” – for sharing patient data, public trust has to be top of that list. #IfGdata #usemydata

We should be stress-testing existing laws related to data sharing before creating new ones or amending others, says @jessicalakevoy – there’s a lot that they already permit, so it would be better to find where legislative change would have the most impact. #IfGdata
