In two days' time, the election for the Chair of the IPCC will take place in Nairobi, Kenya. 195 delegations will cast their votes for the candidate most relevant. I've already had the opportunity to meet most of them on the ground, in their own nations or at international meetings, over the last few months. The Chair of the IPCC must be a true ‘citizen of the world’.
