Telecom Namibia has appointed a new Board of Directors with effect from 3 June 2026, as the state-owned telecommunications company advances its transformation agenda focused on operational performance, infrastructure modernisation and improved customer service.
The new board is chaired by Fimanekeni Petrus, with Melanie Tjijenda serving as deputy chairperson. Other board members are Henock Immanuel, Maria Haipinge, Marvin Awarab and Hasting Tjipueja.
Telecom Namibia said the newly constituted board takes office at a critical stage in the company’s institutional restructuring and strategic repositioning efforts.
