Today we launched our new white paper Navigating Generational Change: Building a Future-Ready Transport Workforce. Created with @transportwm, this paper shines a light on how our sector can better support a workforce that now spans multiple generations. With nearly half of transport workers over 45 - and younger generations bringing new expectations and energy - getting this right is essential for the future of road transport, logistics, coach and van operations. The report brings together data, insight and real experiences from across the industry. After today’s launch at the RHA Logistics Leaders Forum, Clare Murphy joined Shireen Ali-Khan at the Women in Transport’s event this evening as they celebrated the launch with their network. The paper sets out 11 practical actions for employers — from structured knowledge transfer and line manager training to modern learning models and life-stage inclusion.
