The bottleneck, the main difference is Cosmos having the fragmented security model in general, compared to Polkadot and Ethereum having a single security umbrella and parallelizing.
The good lesson for Ethereum can be from Polkadot though.
Not the token price but the persistent fragmentation happening with multichain/rollup scaling out.
Polkadot learned the hard way about the downsides of losing the coherence, which is why JAM is basically the future of Polkadot. And which why all that fuzz about JAM.
For Ethereum, that journey of discovering its downsides has just started.
