The end of 2025 is coming in fast, and the panic is setting in now. What we need to achieve and where we need to be. Theres been some rocky paths and betrayal and lost faith along the way, but the light of faith and of those who genuinely care have always shone through the darkest clouds
There is a special kind of pain that comes from being let down by those you trusted. Promises made and then broken. Hands that once reassured, turning away when the weight became too heavy.
It leaves a mark, unseen but deeply felt.
But let this also be the reminder
Not every closed door is the end.
Not every person to walk away.
Not every story ends where the hurt began.
For every lie you are told, every promise broken there is someone else ready to say, "we're here."
For every heartbreak, a hand willing to reach back through the darkness.
For every dog who arrives with scars of disappointment and abandonment, there are families, supporters, and strangers who choose compassion, loyalty, and love, day after day.
For those individuals who let the dogs and family down, there are ten who will take the weight of pain with you
Being let down teaches us where not to stand.
But it must never teach us to stop believing in the good that still exists.
So we continue, we rebuild, we trust, we open the door again. Because hope deserves another chance.
Don't regret what's not been. Look to the future where we're going. The rough will always come with the smooth
Resist the urge to strive for an entirely new you in 2026. Instead, accept your last year, today, and tomorrow.
Approach personal growth, habit change, and goals with a kinder self-talk that cares for your mental well-being.
Evaluate the relationship you have with yourself. Ask if you would speak to somebody else in the way you speak about yourself? The relationship you have with yourself is crucial to your own wellbeing and to creating healthy and happy relationships with others.
Being kind to yourself regularly is one of the best things you can do. Take a few minutes each day to appreciate the small wins you have achieved
