Here’s an obvious idea for a unicorn: kill the PDF. Worst piece of shit software and standard ever. Adobe should be ashamed. Create a new cloud based “digital paper” doc standard that’s easy to edit and sign that can also leverage PDFs. #killthepdf.

So much yes. In fact it's gotten worse because 20 years ago we weren't attempting to read PDFs on mobile phones. Pinch pinch zoom. What a disaster! I got so frustrated with it last year, I actually wrote a song! #killthepdf

PDF: ❌ not mobile-friendly ❌ not accessible ❌ not easily trackable ❌ dead end for users (no navigation) ❌ not ideal for SEO 🖨️💾📨 made for printing, saving & sending ❌ bad format for web content Solution: Publish all content in HTML first & offer PDF as secondary option.
