#ThrowbackThursday Roof gardens, trees, living walls #landscapeled all part of the City Cntre Opportunity Site Masterplan design #charettte outcome in 2016. Rejected & replaced by a compitition. Seems some of the ideas from then might find their way through to CCOS North!? 👍

For the #community led CCOS #charrette 2016 we collectively took #landscapeled principal described by Jan Gehl “First life then spaces then buildings.” Start with people & how they live, next work on the spaces & places that support this, and only then sort out the buildings.

These two concept plans were co-created by the #community through a #masterplan #design #charrette they were both #landscapeled for testing of the recommendations by council design team. They didn't use the recommendations for whatever the reason & guess who the council blamed?
